i seriously doubt that RH3 will make as much money as RH2 let alone more than RH2. it's been about FIVE years since the last one so I doubt that the major demographic movie goers (i.e. teenagers) would even remember what the 2nd one was about. I don't want this sequel to turn out bad, but man.... 1. Jackie's gettting preeeetttttty old 2. Tucker's been MIA since Rush Hour 2 so he's pretty much been a nonfactor in the Hollywood industry
What he said...You know, the fifth element is one of the few movies I can watch all the time...I don't know why, but it is... Good for CT...
Rush Hour 3 should start into production years ago, however, there's speculation that Chris Tucker is not satisfied with his paycheck and his role in the movie, he want to have a bigger role in the movie, well, from RH 1 to RH 2, he's role has increase dramatically, but he's still not satisfied, that's why the movie has delayed. Insight info, shh........ Jackie Chan DOES NOT like the character role his playing in RH, can't remember exactly why, but mainly, it has to do with his character role, which is a cop go after bad guys and stuff like that, he's tired of that role already, he also like to perform more acting work instead of action which is limited because of his English ability. If you notice his lastest movie, his role has much more emotion acting, he's tired of the just action role already, but come on, Chan perform emotion and art acting....HAHA... Well, the biggest reason Chan still do the movie is simple, $$$$$, he's getting pay upfront, I think a lot more than 15M the news reported. That's only small part of his paycheck, his biggest paycheck is the gross dividend which he will get for the box office gross money, and the distribut right around the world such as DVD, rights...etc, he said that he's still getting pay from RH 2 last year. He figure that he could use this money to do more movies the way he wanted, which many of his lastest movie, he has a lot of influence on the directing, role, and etc....... RH 3 will be another box office hit when it released. If not, there's won't be so much talk around it.
