Reminds me of the time when a guy at a company I used to work for was creating a demo database to test out some custom functionality we had designed for a customer. In our application, you had your employee's names and positions, etc. Well he used p*rn star names for all the employees... you know... juvenile stuff like on this board. I told him he should get rid of those before he gets fired. He said "don't worry man, I was just being goofy, I'll change them before we send them out tomorrow". Well apparently later that night, the VP of our company who is a workaholic makes a backup of that database and takes it directly to the demo site that night - the location was at the headquarters of our largest customer.

Now our VP is a dude with a thick accent from overseas that wouldn't know the difference between a p*rn star and an episode of Wild Kingdom. He gets up in front of some very higher ups in the company and proceeds to demo the software using the database my co-worker created and never pulled the p*rn star names out of. As I understand it, he just kept on demo'ing while chuckles came from the captive audience until finally people just blurted out laughing. Needless to say someone finally told him and that co-worker was fired via long distance within 2 minutes.

DoD, if everyone was laughing, then why did the boss care enough to fire your buddy? Seems like everyone took it in stride...

 

1) It's not professional no matter how much they were laughing
2) Not all of them were laughing
3) It made the VP look like an idiot up there

 

Actually it's much easier to just right click-->view image or right click---> properties but I'll let it slide since RM95 posted it.
