Smith is more than capable of filling in here.

You just pretty much summed up about 3 months worth of me biting my tongue into one sentence. You win the internet.

What's funny is that you had many Bush supporters claiming the same thing after last weekend after they were "betrayed" and "kicked in the gut" by the Texans not taking their boy.

Yeah, one or two took their chance to get heard on the radio i'm sure.

And as we all know, for every one caller into a radio station, that represents approximately 30 billion people.

Exactly. Just like the vast majority of those upset about not taking Bush won't stop following the Texans because of the decision, the vast majority of VY supporters won't stop either because of the same reason.

This would be a great signing if it goes through. Back up RB is a big concern assuming we don't resign Wells. If DD gets hurt, we'll be in big trouble.

Smith would fit in perfectly. He's a veteran with a Superbowl ring who could spell DD and play in short yardage situations.

My thinking exactly. I really like the fact the Kubiak is bringing in a strong veteran prescense. I think we SORELY missed that last season.

Wow, looking at that list of moves in the offseason just fired me up so much!

I don't know how many games we will win but I can be sure of two things.

Number one, this is by far the most talent the Texans have had
Number two, We will be the most improved team in the AFC (06 version of the 05 Miami team)

For that to happen we will have to finish somewhere between 8-8 and 10-6. Looking at the schedule, that would appear to be a monumental task. I don't think its going to happen, but you never know.

He has a history of showing up to camp overweight. When he was a starter it took him about five games to get into good game shape.
