First playoff series; two 40 pt games, two game winning shots, and a triple-double.

Is this the same guy people were accusing of not being able to come through in the clutch earlier this season?

This has been a very entertaining first round of the playoffs all-around.

Well, Wizards are the worst defensive team in the playoffs.

And he made them pay.Still, i'm hoping Arena's can lead his team through to the next round.

Sorry, Lebron only has one game-winnig shot so far in his playoff series. The other one was an obvious traveling bailed out by the referees!

That last defensive play by the Wizards was probably the worst defense I have ever seen.

I was unaware the league reviewed and disallowed Lebrons first game winner. WHen did that happen?

Who cares if YOU think it was a travel?

So by my count, and the official stats, Lebron has 2 game winning shots this series.

    KING JAAAAAAAAAAAMMES

    I m a kobe-hater. i admit it!!! :D

But i dont hate LeBron. I just hate NBA referees. A travel is a travel, just call it. Of cos, James has alot chances for game winning shot in the future. He has a bright future.

    Exactly.

Blame the refs. Not LeBron. Jordan took what he could get too.

This guy is amazing. First off he's built like a PF, but has the mobility and handle of a SG. He's probably the most overwhelming, physical presence to come into the league since Shaq. That being said, you can't put a hand on the guy. He's by no means a product of his environment, but he's certainly taking about as much advantage as anybody possibly can.

Firstly, Washington is the worst defensive team ever, they don't even try, the Cavs have to be setting some sort of record for uncontested shots and layups.

Lebrons first "game winner" was an obvious 4 steps.

The only reason that tonights game got to overtime was because lebron choked at the end of the 4th ( turnover + missed shot ). Also why did the wizards let lebron catch the ball wide open on the baseline, that was just stupid.

Lebron is a good scorer, but I would not trust him at the end of games, especially against a legit team.

Even ESPN called it a travel and they lick his balls fortnightly. It was a worse travel than Malones moving pick on Drex.

    great game!

very entertaining!! both lebron and gilbert were on my fantasy team this year =D (a league which i won of course ;) ) so i have been following them both all year along... they're both are amazing stat stuffers and have incredible talent... while while lebron will eventually be better, i think the end of the game was more of a mistake by wiz rather than lebrons amazing heroics.. however the play right before where the wiz went up by 1, arenas took a steal down court and took it right at lebron. that was a great take.. i think at this point in their careers arenas is more clutch and it shows in the maturity.. that being said, id rather have the ball in arenas hands than james with the game on the line..

Is Gilbert Arenas the greatest second round pick ever?

I agree - James should only have one game winning shot... Huge travel... My Brother is such an idiot for saying what he said before.. Who cares if you hate Kobe it's got nothing to do with what you said - completely irrelavant...
And maybe the fact that people hate these players, is because since their names are known - they get the calls... Please tell me if Ruben Patterson did what James he wouldn't have gotten called for a travel.. Or when at the end of the half James clearly used his forearm to push the defender - obvious offensive foul, but since everyone knows his name the calls go for him..
People hate players for the certain reason that their life is made easier by the referees.. They're so good - if anything the refs should be favouring the other guy

I guess the guy will have to have a 75 point quentiple double in order to get a little respect around here...

Lebron is playing great, but the Wizards' defense would have sent JVG to the ER room if he were their head coach.
