How is it that Verizon can charge me ten cents per text message I receive when I cannot opt out? Some girl who is trying to stalk me is spamming my inbox and by doing so, charging me dollars. Anyone know if I can prevent my phone from receiving text messages?

Yeah, just call customer service and ask them to disable text messaging.

What pisses me off is Verizon used to be $.10 to send and $.02 to receive...then all of a sudden they change it in the middle of my contract to $.10 to receive.

    Cancel txt messaging?
You should call customer service and buy the largest txt message plan available - txt messaging is just too important to block :D
