    Diaw's career is on the rocks now. The curse of the MIP award is on him. Half the players continue to do well. The other half just disappear due to an injury that keeps them out half the season.

    1998-99 Darrell Armstrong, Orlando (Injury)
    1999-00 Jalen Rose, Indiana
    2000-01 Tracy McGrady, Orlando (injury)
    2001-02 Jermaine O’Neal, Indiana (injury)
    2002-03 Gilbert Arenas, Golden State
    2003-04 Zach Randolph, Portland (injury)
    2004-05 Bobby Simmons, L.A. Clippers

    Jalen, Gilbert and Bobby are the only three that have managed to play at least 65 games every season after winning the award.
