Reggie Bush needs to fire his agent. He basically screwed him out of the first overall selection. He will not get the same deal he was demanding. he left the door cracked and someone busted it open accepted a deal and got it done. Now reggie may go #2 he may go #3 who knows I just know he lost some money trying to be greedy
It wasn't about money, we offered Williams more than we offered Bush. In the end, the Texans thought that Williams would help the team more than Bush.
It is only a matter of time - we will realize in time that this was the best move. I thought it was the best rational move and I am glad the Texans brass saw things in a similar manner. I warned KAS13 (who btw is a great guy) about absolutes - NOTHING....I mean ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in this life is guaranteed even up to the 9th hour. Hopefully we have all learnt at least 2 lessons from this. I optimistically await 2006/2007 season with great joy and expectation.
I wished I would have read my Sports Illustrated issue YESTERDAY... on page 19, Nunyo Demasio has some interesting points about drafting Mario.
You say don't use absolutes and immediately follow it by saying "absolutely nothing in this life is guaranteed."
