Naw, Yao has been a Starbucks drinker for a while. I remember in his rookie year when he went up to seattle for the first time, he made some joke about expecting Starbucks coffee on the bench.

Now I know it, and I am going to report this to CNT... The fact is that, if Yao feels he is ok to play, he will; if not, then not. I just hope he can get fully recovery and never hurt that foot again.

 

with the comment that van gundy made a year or two ago about yao crossing his legs during one of the team meetings, he probably ordered a half-caf, quad-venti, eight pump sugar-free french vanilla, soy, two and a half splenda, light foam w/whip, extra-hot latte. yep... that'll put some hair on your arse.

btw, i'm suprised that there hasn't been a "rockhead award" thrown out yet.

One of my good friends is a freelance audio engineer. He recorded Yao doing a PSA yesterday at Toyota Center. He's worked with him lots of times, but it had been almost a year since the last time. He said he seems a LOT more comfortable with people than he used to and is really fun to work with.

 

Glad he is not suffering from the broken foot(at least it doesn't look like).

 

"If not Yao, we need to grab this 7'6" Chinese guy now and play twin tower with Yao...."
