If we extrapolate the one minute total of 1794 hits... 1,299,944 / 1794 = 724.60 minutes or 724.60 / 60 (minutes per hour) 12 more hours and he will have the 2 million. That is of course if the 1794 is a constant rate.

Yeah but you need calculate in the fact that the word is getting out to hundreds of emails and message boards. The 29.9 hits per minute will probably be gradually increasing as the day goes on.
A better one-up would be if someone that is associated with the counter software was aware of what was happening and put a cap on his hits at 1,999,999, at which point the counter stopped incrementing. Hilarity would ensue!!!
A couple guys made scripts that keep refreshing the site. He will be up to 2 million by the end of the day.

This reminds of when I was flippin threw the TV and saw the show with David Spade on it. Same scenario, two girls tell him they will have a 3-some w/ him if he does a bunch of tasks by the end of the day. He agree, but it is a lot to do, so by the end of the day he has like hundreds of men in NY helping him to acheive this goal.
