Apparently some guy is holed up in his house with a rifle and a glock in my neighborhood. I was out grilling some steaks and heard a lot of sirens, and then saw on the news that some guy was in a standoff with police. No reports of hostages. Cohen you live out here too right? Is that you???? DD
Yeah, we had to drive the long way home tonight. It was a family disturbance DaDakota. The first report I heard was that a nut was running around w/ a gun, so I was relieved to hear that he was holed up in his home.
Police have also reported the stench of Patchouli is so overpowering they are unable to raid the home.
If it's on the news, you guys need to run across the screen, streaking while holding a "Clutchfans.net" sign.
there aint no hippies in circle c. that is solid bush country down there. you come to my neighborhood in central austin and they pump that stuff in thru our air conditioners. plus, every house comes standard with a hooka. the tie-died wall paper was an upgrade though.
A similar situation happened to me a few years ago. The people that live diagonally from me, had a daughter that was gettign divorced. The ex-husband came over and held her and their baby at gunpoint. My wife and I were getting ready to leave to go to lunch and about 4 cops swarmed into our garage and started telling us to go inside and lock the doors. we watched everything unfold from the windows that faced that side of our house. they talked the guy into the street then 3 cops tackled him. while we were watchign I noticed my elderly neighbor sitting in his front yard in a lawn chair watching. he looked like he was watchign a parade. He had a beer in one hand and a bag of peanuts in the other. When the guy came out with the gun and started walkign down the road, he never moved.
It's probably because we have a private company doing garbage pickup. Apparently, some guy escaped from a dumpster.
Update: They had a stand off for 5 hours and stormed the house, only to find it.......EMPTY !! The suspect is still at large for aggravated Sexual assualt. Link to story Only in Austin !! DD
