Jason Williams was traded to Grizz for Bibby and Brent Price. ------------------ "Instinctly u recognize things, now take advantage of what u just recognized!".. Hakeem..
Link? Damn this is an exciting night! ------------------ Greatness is not a singular act, it is a habit. You are what you repeatedly do.
Heard it off the Radio on 610am in Houston. ------------------ "Instinctly u recognize things, now take advantage of what u just recognized!".. Hakeem..
If this is true, I am amazed by the Grizz's ability to make a GREAT trade with Atlanta, and then turn right around and commit a major screw up like this...what are they thinking? Jason Williams is NOT the answer to this team's problems. ------------------ I would rather have Mo Taylor and his love of the Rockets than Webber and his love of our money.
http://www.sportingnews.com/nba/articles/20010628/326285.html yep it's done. and i agree raven, this was not smart for vancouver...mike bibby was number 2 overall and i think he's going to be a very nice player ------------------
...and so begins the downfall of the Sacramento Kings. University (Run away, Raven.) Blue ------------------
But he and Gasol can make a very spectacular game. The franchise is on a new city and need to sell tickets
Since nobody has posted this yet, WRONG FORUM!!!!! Seriously now, what the **** is Memphis doing?? Bibby has game. Williams has sizzle. The only thing Williams will do is sell a few tickets short term. Bibby would have sold more long term because he was going to one day help them win. Well, you know this is great news for the Rockets because CWebb is probably pissed right now and not going to resign with Sac now. ------------------ President of the Eddie Griffin fan club.
If Memphis can't sell tickets for a new (well, new to them) team, then maybe Vancouver picked the wrong market to move to. The excitement of just getting an NBA team should be enough to fuel ticket sales for a couple of seasons. By that point, J-Will's sizzle will have gotten old, and the fans will realize that what they have left is a bad team with mediocre players. ------------------ I'm so amazingly cool you could keep a side of meat in me for a month. I am so hip that I have difficulty seeing over my pelvis.
The Kings downfall will come at the exit of Chris Webber, certainly not Jason Williams. Unless you thought that no-look passes into the stands was what was keeping that team together. But I tire of arguing the Jason Williams fight with you, UB. It is more than obvious at this point that you will not change your mind, and that you feel you understand JWill's game better than the entire coaching staff of the Sacremento Kings. Runnin (something I think is clever) Raven ------------------ I would rather have Mo Taylor and his love of the Rockets than Webber and his love of our money. RunninRaven: "Nevermore!" The Kings downfall begins with the trade of Jason Williams and will continue with the exit of Chris Webber. There have been a lot of ugly posts recently regarding Jason Williams, but remember me the next time he plays Sacramento. University (Ugly Duckling) Blue ------------------
