[VIDEO] Tracy McGrady: "Remember The Name" [NSFW!] As is the case with many of us, I have been watching the NBA Playoffs quite a bit the past few days and I ended up getting TNT's theme song for this year stuck in my head. For those who don't know, it's called "Remember The Name" and it's by Fort Minor (Mike Shinoda of Linkin Park's side project). Anyway, the point is that I started thinking that it would make great background music for a basketball mix video. Then I realized that I don't really have time at the moment to make a new one, so I came up with an alternative... I took a video I made last year, a compilation of TMac's 04-05 season, and replaced the original music with "Remember The Name". I think it turned out really well, and the lyrics are actually rather fitting. As in, "even though Tracy was on the shelf this season, you better remember the name because he'll be back and he'll be looking for redemption". A little dramatic, but you get the idea. Anyway, I uploaded it to youtube and figured I'd share with the people that I know will most appreciate it. After seeing him hurt this past season, you really forget how good this guy is. Another thing I noticed is that Andre Miller has the nack for taking some nasty facials over the last couple of seasons. I did not realize how much this guy gets smashed on. He's too short with not enough hops to try to jump with these guys. Tracy, Smush, and at the end of the season Ray Allen smashed on his grill. Somebody might catch him slipping this Clipper series too.
I hope that people start writing him off for next year, saying he will never be the same, and that he is done. It will motivate him to come back better than ever. Great video...lyrics NSFW though. DD
