ABDUR-RAHIM TRADED!!!!!!!!

Detroit (Dumars) has said they absolutely will not let Vancouver off the hook for the Thorpe trade for a simple trade up of 3 picks although they will consider loosening the restrictions (giving them an extra year). Would they do it for number 3? I don't know.

This move may be a signal that Vancouver is going to load up on young uns and tank next season (so they get a top 5 pick and don't have to give it up) and try and improve a couple seasons down the road.

I thought the whole thing with the Detroit-Orlando thing was pretty underhanded. They screwed us by accident but screwed Vancouver on purpose. It will come back to bite them in the ass. Orlando is already having a hard time getting other teams to help them via trade. However, their trying to stick it to VAN again might work in our favor this time.
