Why not trade down w/ GS

    Like for the Rockets to try to trade down with Golden State:

    Rockets give 18& 23 for
    Golden States 14 & 31

    Rockets draft-
    Radman @ 13
    S. Hunter @ 14
    T Morris @ 31

    I wouldn't do it if I was GS since I would try to pick up Cook or Tinsley (I think he's overrated, but GS could use a point) at the 14.

    Therefore we would be trading up with Golden State, not down. I would be in favor of the draft, but I think that it is unlikely that Golden State would make the trade. I wouldn't take Steven Hunter that high either, I'd rather have Woods or Haywood.

    Definately a trade up

    I like trading the 18 & 23 for a higher 1 and a 2 pick

    I think with the depth of this draft we could get 3 good players but only 2 guaranteed contracts

    That makes some sense. Ideally I'd like to see the Rockets get Diop/Randolph @13; Jefferson @ 14; and Cisse with the late pick. Please not Haywood (Cato Jr.) or Murphy ( who would be one of the few people Cato could take to the hole).
