Sorry for my limited English skill. But here's the translation of the an article from Sohu -- official holders of Yao's personnel webiste.

    http://sports.sohu.com/20060421/n242916140.shtml

Yao's Team: Yao Recovered Well. Will Return China In The Middle Of June

There's already been one week after Yao's surgery. How's he doing? How is the wound healed? With these questions, Sohu Sports interviewed Zhang Mingji, leader of Yao Ming's management team.

Zhang said, Yao is not recorvering very well. He doesn't feel little pain of the part which just had surgery. He's also in a good mood. Probably tomorrow the stiches will be removed. Zhang also suggested that there'll be 3 stages for Yao's recovery plan. First stage Yao will just rest. Secondly he will receive some physical therapy to help for the cicatrization. Last stage is sports. It is said that the last stage will be carried on in China. Zhang said, Yao's team will send request to China Basketball association to send over an experienced orthopaedics expert. This expert will work with Yao's surgery doctor to make Yao heal better. And, Yao's team has chosen the national training bureau as the place for Yao stay and recover. Zhang Mingji said, Yao will return China before mid June.

Now Yao can walk with crutches. Because it's inconvenient for him to walk, plus he can not take long flight, so Yao's team turned out the invitation from the White House for Yao to attend the banquet to welcome Chairman Hu.

There was a reporting suggesting that Houston Rockets refused China Basketball Association to send doctor over to USA to cure Yao, and was intended to delay Yao's returning. Sohu Sports also asked Zhang Mingji about this. Zhang said, this was totally nonsense. He said that Yao's surgery doctor ever called him after the surgery regarding Yao's healing progress. This doctor earnestly said that the Rockets will try to heal Yao in shortest time possible. He couldn't guarantee the exact timing, but they'll try their best. Yao's team has communicated with the Rockets. And Houston has made it clear that they would not intervene Yao's return (to China).

The reporter was also informed that Hu Jiashi, vice director of Chinese basketball management office, has stated that China Basketball Association never tried to send doctor to USA for Yao's surgery. After the surgery, the association has talked to Yao's team a number of times that they would not force Yao into any game. And they also delivered the message to Yao through Yao's team, that they hope Yao doesn't feel any pressure during healing time, and only return to the court once he's 100%. The association will base on scientific principle. They haven't issue any so-call 'Returning Schedule' to Yao Ming. And Zhang Mingji added that Yao is much appreciated the care from the Chinese basketball management office before and after the surgery. And he thanks a lot for the blessing from all the fans.

OMG, bad mistake. The first sentence of Zhang should be:

Zhang said, Yao is recorvering very well. He only feels little pain of the part which just had surgery.

    My apology. :( :(

You don't have to apologize for anything. We appreciate your efforts to translate the article for us. Those who litter the board with the babelfish translations have a lot to learn from you.

    Thank you.
