Say what you want, despite the frustration, a night with Rocket's ball beats TV without it. Even if we have to root for Rafer to try to miss 2 freethrows to ice the loss. Anyone else agree?
Yes...I'd much rather watch one of Stro's spectacular dunks or Deke wag that finger than pretty much anything else on tv.
The wait until 06-07 will be tremendously long. Hopefully we find out good news as far as draft, transactions, injuries over the summer.
Every year we say the same thing and every year training camp begins before we know it! It's gonna be a great offseason but I agree. Astros games are good, but not Rockets good. Just wait until Doc Rocket makes his first offseason post. This place is gonna blow up as usual.
DITTO! Thank gawd the Astros are doing good this year, well except for Preston Wilson and our bullpen but thats beside the point.
Only 6 more months.... And you can watch some exciting playoff basketball until June to see how real teams play offense. DD
6 months, Man thats along time. Lets hope some good things happen with Tmac and Yao's Health, Free agency, and the draft. Otherwise its going to be a miserable summer for me
As of right now my attention is turned totally toward the Texans, but I do miss watching Rockets games and then staying up late to watch the replay.
The Shaq 'n Kobe Lakers did it with offence. Guess which NBA team is currently closest, in terms of talent type, to those Lakers....
Bingo! BTW NFL>NBA>MLB I love them all but nothing is better than the NFL and while I love watching baseball games I want to puke when I hear these people on tv freak out over records and steriods. If your sports numbers and record book are more important than the games than your sport is number three out of three. ALL BASEBALL FANS, The records are statistacal data that is an historical record of what happend that game. Numbers should be used only to compare players in two senarios. Number one-to compare how one players season is to anothers from that same season. Number two-at the end of a players career you put up the players numbers along side of other from HIS GENERATION and then determine how great his career was. I love baseball but the records are not only meant to be broken but they are also a little bogas. Before 1920 the baseball was different before the 50's most to all blacks were not allowed to even play these were some of our best players. In the 70's there was a lower mound than there ever was before and the DH was brought in. I am off point, I miss last season and can't wait till next Go Rockets!
