Yao undergoes successful foot surgery

    has anyone ever had Unsuccessful surgery? i mean i always her successful surgery. but how can u know its not successful until u wait a while and see what happens.

    successful surgery is not equal to successful recovery. :)

    That's deep stuff dude. lol

    Seriously though, that is a good point. I guess by "successful" surgery they mean they didn't have to amputate his foot. If I guess if anything were to go wrong after that it would be "unsuccessful rehab".

    Wounded Yao is good for himself and Rox team:p(becase loset game is good news for next season's team)

    It just means that what they intended to perform, was performed as they had hoped. If the bone had shattered when they put the screw in, then I'd call it unsuccessful. :eek:
    Successful recovery is a different story.
