Jason Collier or the next Bill Lambier? A Bill Lambier type of player would be nice to have. Murphy's profile sounds a lot like Lambiers but it also sounds a lot like Colliers.

In my opinion Troy Murphy will be a bust in the NBA. He's a Jason Collier type player.

Murphy I picture as the next Novitske but not as good a shooter. But a better rebounder. Also Collier

He won't be a bust. I think he will be the next Raef Lafrentz. People said Raef will be a bust and he averaged 17pts last season.

T-Mu had a better college career than T-Gu (but T-Gu played in a tougher conference). I see similarities in their games.

The question is if T-Mu turns out to be the next coming of T-Gu, will he actually be around at the 13th pick? I saw Boston takes him (that is if he is still on the board).

you guys managed to misspell Laimbeer, Nowitski and Szczerbiak all in the same thread. Impressive.

So did you. It's Nowitzki. [IMG]

Would you take Murphy over Michael Bradley? Also is he better than MoTaylor? What about Zach Randolph- I'd look hard before I took Murphey @ 13. Try him @23.

The thing about him that I see is a bit of a hard-nosed attitude that you don't find in some of the other jump-shooting big men so far, except Lambeer. I'm thinking sort of start out with Pat Garity's body and skills, grow him a couple of inches and transplant David Wood's toughness and heart.
