I have been looking for Shelden Williams highlight clip but I could only find this, at a Duke's forum: Duke Dunk Videos during warmups Does anyone have any for upcoming NBA Draft prospects? Please post here
Here's a nice block by Brandon Roy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v86N_iTRVKQ ... and a nice alleyoop slam by Tyrus Thomas http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2rdclJJOaU8 Andrea Bargnani (as first posted on the BBS by Amel) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6131822744621417810 http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6413229403014366549 Great thread idea by the way.
From these videos, I'm impressed with the Bargiani kid, but disapointed with Splitter. From this one play, Brando Roy does seem to have speed. Now how about the rest of his game?
That McRoberts kid from Duke sure knows how to throw it down. He didn't show much else this year, but he most likely will be available at our pick. Could he one day provide the 'professionalism' of Juwan and the athleticism of Swift?
Roy has a very complete game. From watching him in the tourney, he impressed me with his ability to drive, finish, and pass. I'm not sure about his range, but I know he can do everything else.
I can't tell what to make out of this kid. He looks pretty good on video, he's got good size and athleticism, also seems to run the floor really well. The defense in the video was bad, but I guess you can kind of see the buzz around this kid. If he can get stronger, I could see him being a AK-47 light type of player w/ his length and athleticism.
Cenk Akyol Rudy Fernandez Adam Morrison Tiago Splitter versus our own Vassilis Spanoulis (oh btw, his team's playoff 1/4 MVP). Tiago is in white #21 while V-Span is in dark blue #11 (one layup and one jumper made). V-Span's team, Panathinaikos, lost the game though and the series to Tiago's Tau Ceramica. Panathinaikos vs. Tau (Vassilis vs. Splitter) Just for laughs.... Finally this - Adam Morrison v. J.J. Reddick
Cenk Akyol was already drafted. Rudy Fernandez would be a good pick for Houston as he's a big guard with some point skills that could be paired with Head. He's not likely a lottery pick though, so it'd require a trade of some kind.
While the following link is not a highlight of specific player, it contains the highlights and the full games of NCAA tourney. The catch is you have to register but it is quick. http://www.ncaasports.com/mmod/welcome
This website [click here] is also a good place to get reports on Euro prospects. Thanks Hobbs for the update on Cenk.
If you want to see some prospects in game, there are some in these SEC games: http://sports.yahoo.com/top/collegebroadcast/teams/ thing that sucks about them is that while the commercials have been taken out, the time between them has not. And as far as I can tell, there is no way to fast forward/ rewind/ pause.
The funny part is that they are saying "There are some rumours that the Mavs try to get him over for next season, but we will see." LOL. Nice rumors.
That dunk by Thomas and the block by Roy were awesome.Bargnani has decent all round offensive skills but he isn't a good finisher around the basket.Splitter looks like Varejo. I wouldn't pick him. V Span can drive and finish but he doesn't look particularly quick and I think his outside shot can be blocked but he appears to be all right for a late second rounder. I also agree with Hobbs' analysis of Rudy Fernandez.
