If anyone disagrees, leave a comment, also post your revised mock drafts here. Gasol and Radmanovic moves up because of their euro skills(shooting, handling,) PLUS they have good size both almost 7 feet and athletism. Scary. Battier moves down lacking any tremendous skills or statute. Diop also moves down, being purely one sided defensive player. Bostons 10th and 11th picks are going to be the hardest in the draft to figure. When the smokes clear after the first 9 picks, still a big smog with players like Randolph, Tinsley, Bradley, Murphy, Woods, Diop, Jefferson, even White available, HOW DO U CHOOSE considering BOSTON needs help in every positions aside from SG and SF and also these candidates are all very talented?? May also trade down both picks for Gasol. Tell me what u think. http://www.clutchcity.net/mockdraft.cfm?xMockID=924 ------------------
http://www.clutchcity.net/mockdraft.cfm?xMockID=912 Revised, but I doubt that it's final. I think that after Philly wins the NBA title in 7 games, there'll be a wild week or two before the draft, and our board could look TOTALLY different by June 31. ------------------ blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
VENGENCE How do u figure Clippers will take battier when they already have ODOM? How do u figure Bulls will take Kwame Brown when they got BRAND??! Vancouver already has STROMILE SWIFT, member?? really don't need WHITE. come on dude, those aren't very logical picks, u don't replace your franchise players every year like that. I like the celtics picks, but i hardly doubt Joe Johnson will fall that hard. He is really good. ------------------
Chicago took Fizor last year even though they had Brandt. If a team really beleives some guy has all-star potential they won't pass him up just because they already have someone at that position.
#13 - I explain that in there --> The Clips have players at the SF, but they will do a bit of roster shifting to get things done. Perhaps Battier will be a SG for them? He's quick enough to guard SGs and tall enough to mismatch the rest of the league. For the Clippers, it could be argued they have someone at every position except PF. But they've had SF playing PF an awful lot, and a player like Griffin could possibly clog up the lane. I would look for the Clippers to make some moves this offseason. They need someone who can be a solid leader and oontributor -- they don't have that. Sure, they've got players like Odom and Miles, but they're not the kind of leader that Battier is. If Shane went to the Clippers, and they're able to adjust their starters accordingly, I think we'll see a much better Clipper team. As far as the Bulls are concerned, I talked about that in the draft -- read it. Krause is a moron. He took Fizer when they had Brand. For the Grizzlies -- Swift got little PT last year, and the Grizzlies are idiots as well. They're set at 1, 2 and 3. 4 /should/ be Swift, but he's still too young. I think it's possible that they could trade away Abdur-Rahim, and White can take that space on well, since he can play SF/PF. This is the thing -- this draft is the best draft in many, many years -- better than 1999 and could be as good as 1984 (dream, mj, barkley and more). Every player is good, and it's possible that great players like Joe Johnson or even Jason Richardson will slip. Last year's draft was impossible to predict because it was so crappy. This year's draft is hard because it's so good. From picks 1 through 30, a team can pick up a solid contributor. ------------------ blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah
Here is my updated Mock draft: http://clutchcity.net/mockdraft.cfm?xMockID=1154 I am sure that there will be several trades go down on draft night that will screw everything all up. The Rockets will probably draft someone that no one predicts. They have a great history of shocking everyone. ------------------
