    With regards to his library, the selection committee has narrowed it down to Baylor, SMU and the University of Dallas. SMU is believed to be the front runner. Don't worry about who he'd "appoint", he doesn't get to choose. That decision will be made by the National Archives and Records Administration.

    He does get to choose who heads the foundation that will run the museum. The library will be run by NARA.

    The decision will be announced by NARA, the decision will be made in the White House.
