yao should still be playing to keep his confidence up and keep his leadership progressing. however, hayes and lampe should be out there showing thier stuff for the last 5 games. howard doesn't need to get meaningless 20 point games when he's already had a great year and we have young guys that need time to develope.
I agree. JVG should play Hayes more but I think he'll definitely be signed by the Rockets next year regardless. As for Lampe, I don't think theres hope
I'm sorry, but the stardards on Howard is too low. After this season, I finally saw why Howard had good looking stats but bad team records. The guy just has no impact on both ends of the floor, even on the nights he has something close to 20/10. For example, last night he got 20 points, but it took him 19 shots. He might get 10 rebounds sometimes, but his poor defense gave all that back to opponents. 82games.com showed Howard had worst +/- among Rockets starters, only slightly better than Bowen among players who got resonalbe amount of minutes.
agree completely, hayes, lampe, swift, and head should be getting the most of the pt. We all know what Yao can do, let him rest so he can come back strong next season.

It's more important to find out who can play with Yao better. So leave Yao on the floor maybe necessary.
