    Apple's stock shot up 15% in the last couple of days.

    Steve Jobs is a genius and he proved it again.

    I think the big loser (eventually) is going to be Dell. Apple computers are cool and trendy, and if they are competitively priced, why would anyone buy a Dell.

    Why would you do that?

    Mac specs are generally weaker than PCs and they're more expensive. If you're a gamer you should never buy a mac.

    That is just it, Apple computers will never be competitively priced. In fact ,they probably do not want to be. They have a great image and value added scheme going. If they were to become lower priced, they will be perceived to be of lower quality.

    If they are the BMW of computers, why would they intentionally want to turn into a Chevy?

    That won't happen. Apple has always and will continue to be overpriced.

    lots of designer companies do this sort of thing, a good example are cloths companies that start selling at wal-mart or target to bring in the big money.

    how do i upload a dvd of a student movie I made on a MAC? i just got the macbook pro and i still have some questions...


    do i need some sort of file compressing program?

    i have idvd and a built in dvd player/burner, but i want to copy the dvd so i can upload the movie onto myspace or you tube for the whole world to see...
