Ouch, that is one of the saddest things I have seen in a while. I actually feel for the guy now. He used to be a decent NBA player... with the Clippers anyway. What the heck happened? Weed DOES make you lazy, but not for the rest of your life...

You'd think playing in NYC would motivate some players to step up their play. All that market share and millions of fans just waiting to be won over... :(

You can get weed delivered to your door here in NYC. He's in heaven.

By the way they're playing now, it makes you wonder how the Rockets won 45 games with Steve Francis and Maurice Taylor...

If anything, it validates what a great and underrated coach Rudy T. was. It looks like he gets the most out of players...

I'm pretty sure you can get that here in Houston, too.

maybe because at least steve used to be an all-star level player. lets not revise history. I know steve's game has gone south this year but he is coming off a great season statistically last year.

I agree, rudy probably got the most out of that team.

It's the curse of the NBA contract. Look at how many decent NBA guys fell off after receiving their big contract.

The Knicks have a lot more talents than Rudy's Rockets with Francis, Mobley and Taylor as their top scorers. I don't know if Rudy is underrated or Larry Brown is overrated.

Yeah, but stats can be deceiving. Think of all the intangibles Mo T brings to the game.

Surprised no one's mentioned it: Taylor had a very very bad injury. We knew he'd never be the same player again afterward.

I'd like to see you guys score more than a basket in an NBA game.

We had some good players, Steve was one of the top point guards in the league, and mobley was great as well. They were heralded as the top backcourt in the league. Mo played good that year, probably around 15ppg and 7-8 rebounds. Also Moochie was still young.

I agree- there is not that much money difference in the two now. Juwan - 7 mill approx and Mot T @ 9 mil.
