I heard that Peja asked for 8M, and iI think Chicago & Indiana would like to content his desire... Do Rox really need to pay 8M/year for just a 3pt shooter and 3rd choice? Don't forget TMAC's 20M and Yao's 13M

The number of teams (suckers) we would have to find to take are junk to make room for Peja is just not happening. In spite of what people think on this board noone wants the players we don't want. Swift has very little value, Howard less, Alston about the same as howard, Head has some value but not enough to garner the type of players we are trying to acquire and the rest of the team is NBDL material.

Perhaps sometime next year someone will want Howards expiring contract. Outside of that forget about clearing cap space or these stupid onesided trades that only benefit the rockets. Our best bet is the draft and our MLE.

    GO ROCKETS TANK AWAY!

    Rockets are passing on Peja.

This year they are going after Terry, and next year they are going to make a strong run at Bosh.

After we trade Juwan for Rashard, look at our new lineup.

    Terry / Rafer
    TMac / Head
    Rashard / Bowen
    Bosh / Stro
    Yao / Dike

^^Wow, I'm really impressed by what the rockets are doing.

Now that line up is a contender, but I doubt we will ever see it here.

i still think that if everyone was healthy, our starting 5 is better than perhaps all but 5-6 other teams.

You do understand that we have a 0% chance of getting Peja correct? We don't have the money to sign him in FA and we don't have anyone on the roster that would be remotely enticing for the Pacers to do some sort of sign and trade deal. And not to mention he is a SF and in case you forgot we have a guy named T-Mac that already plays that position.

You forgot to resign Wesly at Max, just for salary match, so that we can trade him for Kobe.

peja is good, but would not be the same with the JVG defense system, anyone will be better if JVG had been fired.

McGrady can not play SG anymore, except in spot minutes. He doesn't have the quickness to handle it. He is a SF from here on out.

Going after Peja, Rashard, Morrison, etc. is just nonsense. They wouldn't fit at all.
