    1. Washington Wizards - Eddy Curry

    >I believe he is a major risk, but you never know the upside to how these high schoolers may turn out. The comparisons to Shaq make a monumental difference<

    ---------------------------------------------

    2. Los Angeles Clippers - Kwame Brown

    >Lucky SOBs. The drop to #2 may get them the best player in the draft. Kwame Brown is S-I-M-P-L-Y A-M-A-Z-I-N-G<

    ---------------------------------------------

    3.Atlanta Hawks - Eddie Griffin

    >An obvious pick. Griffin would likely play power forward, where he would, imho, make a considerable contribution to this team. The Hawks may even be looking at the playoffs<

    ---------------------------------------------

    4. Chicago Bulls - Jason Richardson

    >I doubt Krause would pass up this guy. I can just see him drooling over the possibility JRich becoming a Carter clone<

    ---------------------------------------------

    5. Golden State Warriors - Tyson Chandler

    >Honestly, I don't see this guy dropping any further. Have you seen him play? As versatile as they come<

    ---------------------------------------------

    6. Vancouver Grizzlies - DeSagana Diop

    >I know, I know. Could be Bust of the Year. But I think the Grizz (or whatever they'll be called) will take the chance on Diop<

    ---------------------------------------------

    7. New Jersey Nets - Shane Battier

    >Kind of low for Battier (I think he could go 3 or 4), but if he's around by the 7th pick, New Jersey will definitely select him<

    ---------------------------------------------

    8. Cleveland Cavs - Rodney White

    >I believe White is almost a lock for the Cavs; they will be leaps closer to making the playoffs. White was extremely nice when I saw video of him at Charlotte<

    ---------------------------------------------

    9. Detroit Pistons - Michael Bradley

    >I believe Joe Johnson is the best available at this point, but the Pistons are full at SG. I think right here they will either take Bradley or Randolph<

Bradley---the next Nowitski, or next (shorter) Shawn Bradley?

    ---------------------------------------------

    10. Boston Celtics - Jamaal Tinsley

    >Good pick at 10; could turn out to be better than expected. Also the Celts are in desperate need for a point. Anderson's just not cutting it<

    ---------------------------------------------

    11. Boston Celtics - Pau Gasol

    >Interesting Euro prospect of whom the Celts have expressed interest in. Sounds pretty good to me<

    ---------------------------------------------

    12. Seattle SuperSonics - Zach Randolph

    >I don't exactly see what's so special about this guy, but everyone is sooooo high on him, and the Supes will need a big guy when Baker is...uh, [IMG] no more. gone. shipped off<

    ---------------------------------------------

    13. Houston Rockets - Joe Johnson

    >Small forward, center. Center, small forward. Who knows? But I say, if Joe Johnson is still on the board, please Rudy, PLEASE...take the best available talent. What is Johnson, 6'6, 6'7, 6'8? He could play small forward easily<

    ---------------------------------------------

    14. Golden State Warriors - Joe Forte

    ---------------------------------------------

    15. Orlando Magic - Loren Woods

    >My gawd what a stick<

    ---------------------------------------------

    16. Charlotte Hornets - Richard Jefferson

    ---------------------------------------------

    17. Toronto Raptors - Brendon Haywood

    >Maybe Jerome Williams will lend him some spirit<

    ---------------------------------------------

    18. Houston Rockets - Ken Johnson

    ---------------------------------------------

    19. Portland Trailblazers - Alvin Jones

    ---------------------------------------------

    20. Cleveland Cavs - Gilbert Arenas

    ---------------------------------------------

    21. Boston Celtics - Troy Murphy

    ---------------------------------------------

    22. Houston Rockets - Gerald Wallace

    >may be after size with this pick, but again, best available player<

    ---------------------------------------------

    23. Orlando Magic - Omar Cook

    ---------------------------------------------

    24. Utah Jazz - Jason Collins

    >poor dude<

    ---------------------------------------------

    25. Sacramento Kings - Horace Jenkins

    >assuming J-Dub is disposed of<

    ---------------------------------------------

    26. Philadelphis 76ers - Osmanne Cisse

    ---------------------------------------------

    27. Vancouver Grizzlies - Trenton Hassell

    ---------------------------------------------

    28. San Antonio Spurs - Jeff Trepagnier

    _____________________________________________

    Rockets get:

    Joe Johnson
    Ken Johnson
    Gerald Wallace

Okay, I'm not an expert by any measure. I didn't exactly research every team and their specific needs, but this is how I think the draft will pan out. So, bring on the opinions. And/or criticism.

I think we'll trade down to Vancouver or New Jersey's pick, but if we keep all three pick, it would be great if Johnson was still there at #13.

But I'd take Troy Murphy over Ken Johnson at #18 if he's still there, and Wallace would be great at #22.

I'd rather see us trade up to get Richardson, Chandler or Battier at Vancouver or NJ's pick, and I'm sure we'd have to give up our #13 and #18 to do that. If Vancouver would give us their 2nd round pick, I'd pick up Morris, Delambert or Cisse.
