People keep saying Jamaal Tinsley will be Boston's at 10 but I say Golden State picks him up at 5 he reminds me of Steve Francis a little .
Loren Woods falling out of the lottery is a stretch .
The Wizards will probaly go with Curry because they need a Center and If Charles and MJ are coming back , He could be just the kind of bulk they need to set screens and rebound .
The Kings are almost guaranteed To Pick a Shooting Guard if they dont trade .
Someone mught take a chance on Cisse before #24 i think . Of course I could be wrong .

Seems entirely plausible (aside from Gardner, but you knew that was coming).

To help you out on one of the teams you had some trouble with, Detroit, Dumars said they need a SF or a C and will take the best available at either position when they pick. So, White seems like the right call. Joe Johnson and Pao Gasol might be other options at SF and for center??? depends on if they have Haywood or Woods rated that highly (doubt it). They are expecting to get another pick this year and would probably snag a center with that one.

One of the problems I see is Troy Murphy going at number 15 ahead of Micheal Bradley. Troy Murphy seems like Pat Garrity without the outside range, something Orlando probably can do with out. I hope the Trenton Hassell doesn't go that high because I think he'd be a good pick for the Rockets at 22, if Shandon leaves.

i realize loren woods going out of the lottery is a stretch in some ways. but personally if i was one of the later teams like houston i'd choose jefferson over him. he could still go tho. also, christie plays the 2 guard well for sac n i think they will wanna re sign him he anchors their D. n as for washington centers in the eastern conference u can get away w/ not so great guys.. and i dont think MJ and collins will have patience for som1 so raw who has a weight problem at times.

but u are right about one thing... tinsley could very well go much higher than i put him.

cisse i don know..6'8 raw PFs arent the greatest risks. maybe if he was taller?

i realize gardner is a stretch. but i feel they will draft a PG. i still couldnt figure out what exactly detroit could do. they could draft woods if they want a center too.

this pick i have more confidence in. bradley is not near as phsyical as murphy. murphy also RBs better. bradley might have a better offensive game not by far. but i think troy fits a need more becuz of his toughness and rebounding. plus bradley is kinda skinny.

Hassell is another iffy pick. but he sounds very good from alot of reports.. n wesley is a bit short for SG for charlotte but i don know about that pick.

    Salsa,

You forgot the fact that the Hawks have Lorenzen Wright who has a hefty contract of 42 million dollars, so I'm not sure if power forward/center will be their most important position to fill.

I've said it to NIKEstrad before, do you really think Richardson has the size to be an effective small forward? I suppose he could be, but I'm not sure if a team uses the 4th pick on a tweener when they already have a very good shooting guard in Ron Mercer.

I'm not sure if Golden State picks up Loren Woods. They have Adonal Foyle and Erik Dampier, who has a huge contract. Danny Fortson will be back next year, so Woods would not move over to the 4. I don't see it happening.

Troy Murphy doesn't seem like a Doc Rivers type player to me. Doc doesn't seem to have a fondness towards jumpshooting big men, and that is exactly what Murphy is. I think they'll look for a big man or point guard. If it is a big man, they'll be looking for a banger, not a finesse player.

I don't see Philly drafting Arenas. He may be a natural scorer, but when Speedy Claxton comes back Eric Snow will see more time at the 2, so a backup shooting guard is less important than you may think.

As for Jason Gardner, Bobby Jackson already is putting pressure on Williams to improve his game. If the Kings are intent on dealing Williams, then yes it could happen, but otherwise I doubt they pick him.

I've heard that the Hawks are very high on Battier. I don't know if they're so high on him that they'll take him with the 3rd pick, but I guess that all depends on how he shows up for workouts.

"Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

the woods pick is kinda iffy. im not sure they pick him up either. so is the gardner pick. dampier isnt that good tho. foyle is more of a backup. but ur right size isnt a huge need. they could n proly should go for a PG although cook is really early at 14.. and too high for 5 i think.

as for mercer. mercer is to me the average NBA SG. he has some nice features like good athleticism a nice shot etc. but he isnt the star that richardson could be. and he isnt the all around player richardson could be.
i dont think krause will want his team built around frontcourt only stars... i think he needs a stud PG or SG.. and richardson draws many parrallels to a young jordan or carter. but size is a huge need so i can see them easily overlooking him although it'd be a mistake.

but as for atlanta.. wright has not worked out that well. he never really has struck me as more than the average PF. i'd choose our own mo taylor over him which isnt saying that much. kwame brown has superstar potential and i think unles they go for battier is too good to pass up.

they have knight at the PG which could use an upgrade but they have

    SG- terry/dermarr
    SF-kuckoc/dermarr
    PF-wright/mohammed.. could use an upgrade
    C- ratliff

now if they want to use terry as a combo guard and dermarr as a 2 then they should get battier. but dermarr has loads of potential as a 3 which is where battier plays.

troy murphy is VERY physical. he grabs many boards. he is also quite strong. he has been called one of the most phyical players in the college game and "the worst player for a referee to ref" he is a banger w/ a jumpshot. bradley is the one that isnt the banger. yes they could go for a PG i have them taking cook.. tinsley will be gone by the time they draft tho..

as for philly i think i agree w/ u there.. they really need a SF backup who can score. jumaine jones while hes a nice player is only 6'6 n kind of a 2 guard. prince or morris would be a good late pick... the point is when iverson goes cold htye could use som1 else to score. i put arenas cuz he has alot of offensive strenght.

i agree w/ u on gardner tho i think he was a stretch there.. but i dont see them taking a 2 or 3 w/ peja/christie quite capable there. center isnt a gigantic need although they could use a shotblocker ... PF is a need if webber leaves.. but not alot of great ones at their pick. i chose gardner cuz i look at bobby jackson as the perfect bench player.. but gardner as more of a true PG.

With Golden State and Atlanta, Woods and Brown are obviously better than the current players that fill their positions, but what I was trying to say is that Wright's and Dampier's contracts would be hard to move, so I would think a team would just hang onto them and look to fill problem areas at other positions.

Salsa,I wouldn't be at all surprised if Chicago picked Richardson if Diop and Chandler have poor workouts, but if Diop does well, then I think they will choose him.I also think that Golden State will pick Battier, because he is a good team player who can make an immediate impact unlike Chandler.Jamison has been playing better at the 4 spot,as compared to the 3,although Jamison will also play at the 3 as well.I hope the Rockets won't pass up on Jefferson with the 13th pick, but I think that they will end up picking Haywood or Woods if they are still available.

The best point guard in the draft to me is Satterfield. That dude is amazing. Jamal may be more mature but whoever gets Satterfield will be very pleased.

satterfield? while he is a good athlete w/ skills .. he isnt a good shooter... he plays like a 2 guard sometime.. n isnt the quickest PG in the draft.. he isnt much of a floor general either... when martin went down that cinncy tema still had talent but didnt do anything... so i think he is a late first to 2nd round pick... and i'd choose tinsley ANY DAY over him.

ive heard chicago is shopping that pick.. so if richardson is still there i think that would be a better option. depends on his workouts..

    TPL

sorry i guess i misunderstood u.. i got the impression u thought wright was like really good. i see what ur saying. still i can see those teams picking each respective guy if they really wanna improve their team contract or not.. but like u said they could pass.
