If you get rid of the high schoolers, this draft is still pretty good.

The way I look at this draft is that the Rockets are getting a steal either if they get the top pick or stay at 13.

With 5 high schoolers expected to go in the top 10 picks. And plus a couple of guards expected to go up high. That leaves a lot of talent at the SF, PF, and Center.

It looks like the guy the Rockets pick with that 13th pick would help the Rockets more than anyone they would take in the top 3 picks next season.

With Webber, picking 13th might be a little bit better.

Richard Jefferson can play defense and Offense at the SF and can fill in for Mobley on occasions when Langi gets into the game.

And Francis can backup Mobley when Norris gets into the game.

Then I see Joe Johnson and I marvel at the fact that his ball handling ability is what this team could really use with Mobley and Francis often going on scoring frenzys.

I won't disagree that those highschoolers can help this team. Sure, they'll become all league players in no time. But no time is 3 to 5 years.

Give me Webber, Fancis, Mobley, Taylor, and Jefferson or Johnson. That team can compete with the Spurs and Lakers NEXT YEAR. No need to wait 3 to 5 years.

But either Joe Johnson or Richard Jefferson suits me fine.

Maybe he's thinking of Ousmane Cisse.

Nobody is projecting Cisse in the top 10 and Wagner didn't declare.

Kwame Brown perhaps , he's got the right size considering Chandler is a toothpick and Curry is too big .

Actually, we've got 6 high schoolers-Curry, Diop, Brown, Chandler, Cisse, and another scrawny ~7'0'' guy Tony Key, who from what I've heard is a mid-late 2nd rounder, or may miss draft completely.

That's my point. Since, there's only 6 HS players in the draft and two of them have no prayer of going top 10, I was confused by the "With 5 high schoolers expected to go in the top 10 picks." statement.

Maybe one of the freshmen coming out has no college credits therefore is technically still a high-schooler. It's possible!
