When I saw that we were going to post Barkley for every play of overtime, I must admit, I got nervous. All I could imagine was that he was going to miss one shot after another. And I was begging for him to pass the ball back out to Drew. He didn't. And Thank God. He really took over the game for a few minutes there and showed me that he does deserve the ball in the clutch. I still want FRancis to be the man down the stretch, but Barkely showed me that he's still got something left in the tank. And how about Cato. He wanted the ball in the "Clutch" situations as well. That really showed me something about his character. It seemed like everbody was willing last night to make the big shot. That's a good sign. I saw a lot of confidence on the floor in the waning moments the 4th, OT, and 2nd OT. Drew and Mobley messed up, but who cares, they were willing to make the big play. That's all you can ask sometimes.
I kinda felt the same way. What worries me is when CB takes bad shots. I want him to have the ball at certain points down the stretch, but I want him to attack the bucket and draw fouls. I'm as happy as anyone to see that we have multiple players who are willing and able to make plays in the clutch. ------------------ Look out, The Kid is about to blow up!
