Does anyone know where I can get some relatively low stakes poker games (50-100 dollars). I know blackjack is the only game where you have a fair shot at winning some money does anyone know any other games where the odds aren't totally against you.

are you wanting to play limit or no limit? if you want to play no limit, you can probably find quite a few 1/2 NL games where the minimum buy in is 100 dollars. The easiest competition in vegas for low level poker, either limit or no limit is Excalibur. I've also heard Imperial Palace is also a place full of novice players.

probably the lowest holdem game you'll find in vegas is 2/4 (a 100 is sufficient for a buyin at 2/4). The mgm has a regular 2/4 going, it's a relatively new room and very nice. I hear the luxor has good low limit games as well. Ceasar's and the Venetian have new rooms, but i don't know how low they go. The belligio, mirage, and the wynn are generally recognized as the best poker rooms but they generally don't spread any lower than 4/8.

Any nonpoker, non sportbetting, casino game is going to have odds against you, except maybe some crazy, high variance form of video poker. pontoon, maybe soem bets at craps, rolette, might have a low HA than BJ, but play what will be fun for you, that's the most important thing cause you'll probably going to lose money anyways at those casino games.

there's actually a 1-3 spread limit game at the excalibur...or at least there was one when I was last there....be warned, though....you will see some stuff that is just plain r****ded. one time when I played a girl did not fold preflop a single hand for 2 hours. the sad thing is she was killing. even hit quads once.

I think the Golden Nugget has 2/4 games. But they only have four tables and it is a pretty ghetto place to hang out compared to the bigger name places.

for the last 1.5 years or so, low limit games have brought out the huge idiots in vegas since everyone wants to play poker. Unless you're ready for repeated bad beats and only winning when either a) you've played at the table long enough to have a good rep or b) you get lucky...just player higher stakes. At least a 4/8 table to weed out some dumbness

If you're looking for a game with a fair shot to win, play Casino War at Bellagio. It's just like War, if you card is higher than the dealer's, you win.

Find a craps table....bet the table minimum on the pass line...and whatever you can afford as an odds bet behind it. The house has no advantage on the second bet, because it pays correctly according to how likely it is to happen.
