Hey Clutchfans, The thread on Ryan Bowen is pure, unadulterated garbage!!! When I read the article I was smiling and (dont read if squemish) throwing up alittle in my mouth!!! There is some irrational thinking going on here.... So coinccidentely I think about the Carrol Dawson pulling off his last terrible deal...you know like a NIGHT CAP. However, I also think about how there is an annual CLUTCHFANS APRIL FOOLS PRANK that is very believable....Looks like they pulled out all the stops this year with a very good link. Did they get ESPN on board for the prank as well... ALMOST GOT ME...the guy was worth the minimum last year and the minimun for the next six years as well.
Well with all the bad deals like Weatherspoon, Moochie, Vin Baker...ummmmmm Anderson, Strickland, Charlie Ward...ummmmm I know there are tons more but those are the ones on my mind so I know Carrol is capable of pulling off one more caper as good as JVG contract extention as a reward for losing by 40 in the first round of the playoffs.
this was an obvious april fool's joke to me when i saw it. it wasn't nearly as funny as past clutchfans april fool's jokes. And the fact that the fake espn link clearly said clutchfans in the url was a dead give away even if they copied espn's design and layout.
forgot to read before posting. but ... sorry can't help... but you do notice there is something extra in that link right? still no? try again.
LOL LOL LOL. This is why i love clutchfans. For the rookies who are new to this forum, YOU WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO ASK A SIMPLE QUESTION IN THIS FORUM WITHOUT EVERYONE GIVING SOME SMARTA$$ ANSWER. People here who saw the forum knew it was a joke, instead of pointing it out like the nice guy I AM who will answer your most r****d newbie questions, they went along with the thread to keep the prank going. It's almost ridiculous how everyone unamously saw that the thread was a joke and went along with it neither questioning but rather fueling the joke. GOOD JOB CLUTCHFANS PEOPLE! YOU WERE ALL JERKS WHO MADE ME LOOK r****dED WITH SMART@SS ANSWERS WHEN I FIRST JOINED THIS FORUM. BUT I STILL LOVE YOU GUYS.
No, Clutch used the onMouseOver command to make it look like a link to some bogus ESPN story site on a mouseover, while the link is actually something in the Clutchfans domain. Simple HTML trick, really. The ESPN link on mouseover doesn't actually link to anything.
