are you suppose to drink the soup in Pho?

    so i went to have Pho today, which i must say tasted amazing. anyways, non of the other people i went with drank the soup, and i was the only one (didnt finish cause there was too much). but i am wondering if yyou are not suppose to drink it or what?

    HELL YEA... the soup is the best part. especially after you put all the stuff in there like the cilantro, basil, and jalepenos.

    I'm vietnamese.

    You're suppose to drink it. and as mentioned before, the soup is the best part (i like the lemon kick). but i never end up drinking ALL of the soup, cause it is a lot.

    I finish the entire bowl every time... And the funny thing is I don't use chopsticks... Str8 spoon...

    I just had Pho today! I go to this spot on Beechnut and Wilcrest and this other one on Bellaire near Boone...

    SW area of course...

    My friend who is Vietnamese got me addicted and I can't stop eating it...

    Pho doc bic with extra chan... That's what I say when I go... not sure if that is the correct spelling but thats how it sounds...

    Finishing all the soup is a quite a task. Those bowl are pretty big and I have trouble finishing the noodles sometimes.

    I eat the soup, its a bit much where I can't finish all of it. Good stuff nonetheless, best I've had in Houston is this hole in near downtown called Pho Kong Ly, REALLY REALLY GOOD stuff there :)
