gotta go wid florida... i mean yes george mason is a good team but theres no way they can stop joakim and al horford down low... even a team like nova wasnt able to stop florida, i highly doubt GM could... i mean yes they did beat a few really good teams, but if u look at the teams they hv beated, they were all shooting terrible + had a lotta TOs and dont really hv a strong presence down low... and i think florida would beat LSU in the finals, many people forgot how the gators hv already beat them twice (once during the regular season and one during the SEC tourney)... tyrus thomas and big baby are nice... but i highly doubt they'll be able to stop the gators (esp the '04s)
UConn had 9 turnovers (0 in the 2nd half, I believe), shot 47% from the field, and led the nation for the 5th straight year in blocked shots...
i think it will be a george mason lsu finals george mason- i love underdogs and upsets. they just have to hold the paint, which they are capable enough, away from noah and should come put victors lsu- gotta love their youngness and atleticism. lsu>george mason in final. lsu's atleticism too much to handle it seems like there is an atletics dunker/shotblocker on the rockets roster who is also from lsu. does anybody else think that tyrus thomas and stromile swift are alike. they can both jump out of the roof and rise as fast as anyone. does anybody else think that they look alike too?
The first Florida win over LSU was a close game in Gainesville, and Tyrus Thomas was limited to 15 minutes due to foul trouble. At a neutral site, LSU might win that game. The win in the SEC tournament was when Thomas, likely their most valuable player in the NCAAs, sat out again, this time with an injury. Assuming Thomas is able to stay on the floor for 25-30 minutes, Florida would (hypothetically) be facing an entirely different LSU team.
