I worked at Best Buy as a Tech for 4 years while i was in College back before Best Buy got worse and worse. It was already going Downhill from there.

They are changing a lot of policies that have changed because of things like this. They were swapping out a lot of products under their warrenty. Make sure you read the warrenty that you got for your ipod and see what they will exchange it for. Sometimes you just get what you paid for it towards a unit and other times they will go ahead and swap it out for like technology. If the Ipod photo is still on the market and available they will just give you the same one. Your warranty you bought from best buy is now void and you have to buy a new one for the new IPOD.

If your ready to fry the IPOD you can put it in the microwave for sure and it will not turn on but make sure you don't do any physical damage to it becuase if they see anything on there they can pinpoint as damage then they will not replace it.

Also one thing that is very important is call up and ask best buy what the policy is as far as a broken ipod. Some items are called DEVO which they can be sent back to manufacturer and they just give you a new one, and others are not DEVO and they have to be sent to be fixed before they will replace the unit. Usually items like Ipods and cell phones and other things are DEVO but make sure you know they will just replace it if it goes bad right there in the store and don't have to actually send it in to APPLE to be checked out first. If they do have to send it in to be fixed then your wasting your time. I would recommend you really call and find out how they handle ipods if they are broken.

    Exactly.

Rocketsfansam, how about you get a job (or if you already have a job start saving a little money) and buy the new one yourself if you want it that bad.

HTC makes the phone, not cingular. You been pwned by a best buy rep!
Cingular doesn't make phones, HTC allows Cingular to use their name to market the phone instead of theirs. In a way you're right, but for practical purposes, the pimple faced kid is right too. More cingular deception.

Actually it makes more sense at a restaurant. As long as you didn't eat the whole thing first. Then you're just a dumbass.

But for renting movies...yeah, that's kind of dumb.
