    Pau Gasol, 7-1, Spain
Forget comparisons with Toni Kukoc, Gasol is known as the European Kevin Garnett and rightfully so. He is currently Europe's best player. Projected as a small forward in the pros he has the size, shooting range, handles, and court vision to play in the NBA. Could be the second coming of Dirk Nowitzki. Has stated he may want to remain in Barcelona for one more year until his contract expires. Predicted range: mid to late lottery

I know hes a foreigner but Ive heard so much about this guy. I realize that the words "potential" and "special" in this day and time are too often thrown around but at 7'1" he can solve almost every problem we have right now. He can be an excellent SF and could also play the 4 spot because of his height. He is an incredible shooter and wont clog the lane so Franchise and Cat can do their thing. Remember thats why we took COllier and Langhi last year. This kid is a probable lottery pick and he can pay off big time for us.

If we cant get this kid...and if there are no quality big men left when its our turn, I wouldnt mind if we drafted Gerald Wallace. Ive heard all the comparisons to Jordan because of how high he can get up and the "potential" he possesses. I just dont think you can let someone like that slip right through your fingers. Worst case scenario we can get good trade for him. He can be an awesome SF with him listed at 6'7"

I want the Rockets to at least get one of these kids...getting both is almost impossible but if they can get one of them, I will consider draft day a success.
