I must say Tmac is the only weapon in rockets for the game that "vs the best Team in League" Should be: I must say that Tmac is the only effective weapon for victory when the rockets play a game versus the best teams in the league. Or more simply: I must say that the only way the Rockets can beat a good team is with Tmac in the lineup.
Give the OP a break. He has admitted that he is 'veryweak' in the command of English in his screenname already.
Oh, Thank you very much In fact, most of Rookies are English Rookies, not Rockets Rookies. < Because you love me - Celine Dion > For all the wrong that you made me right you were my strengths when I was weak Because members love rookie
With growth I think Yao will lead Hou to win a playoff team in thesedays. After Tmac's back ,wish Hou can win every playoff team in the next year.
So my point of view should be: I must say that: YaoMing is the base for victory when the rockets when the rocket play a game. Tmac is the only effective weapon for victory when the rockets play a game versus the best teams in the league. Because without Tmac, YaoMing lead the Rockets: (The Best Teams in the League) DATE H/R OPPONENT R MIN FGM-A 3P FTM-A OR REB A S B TO PF PTS Mar 26 H Cavaliers 102-104 L 44 9-21 0-0 9-10 1 6 7 1 0 4 5 5 27 Mar.21 R Mavericks 72-88 L 38 6-15 0-0 1-2 1 12 13 0 1 1 1 3 13 Mar.20 H Clippers 91-99 L 38 7-16 0-0 11-11 5 12 17 2 0 1 2 0 25 Mar.18 H Spurs 77-92 L 38 7-14 0-0 6-7 2 8 10 1 0 1 2 5 20 Mar.15 H Mavericks 81-95 L 38 12-17 0-0 12-15 3 9 12 2 1 1 2 4 36 Mar.13 H Nets 77-90 L 38 9-17 0-0 18-20 1 8 9 1 0 1 1 2 36 Mar.12 R Spurs 81-88 L 41 9-19 0-0 7-7 0 10 10 3 0 3 1 4 25 Nov.25 R Grizzlies 81-86 L 37 4-13 0-1 7-8 3 9 12 2 2 2 3 3 15 Nov.23 H Suns 88-100 L 27 3-7 0-0 2-2 1 7 8 1 1 0 1 0 8 Nov.22 R Mavericks 93-102 L 37 6-17 0-0 8-9 4 2 6 0 2 1 3 4 20 Nov.20 R Pacers 74-85 L 42 8-21 0-0 8-9 4 9 13 1 1 4 4 4 24 Nov.10 R Heat 84-88 L 33 10-20 0-0 4-7 5 9 14 3 0 1 1 4 24 (The othes teams in the League) DATE H/R OPPONENT R MIN FGM-A 3P FTM-A OR REB A S B TO PF PTS Mar 29 vs. SuperSonics 115-87 W 30 9-14 0-0 11-11 4 6 10 5 3 1 2 2 29 Mar 23 at Hornets 93-92 W 36 9-16 0-0 4-4 1 7 8 1 0 2 5 4 22 Mar.07 R Timberwolves 93-87 W 34 11-24 0-0 8-12 3 10 13 1 0 4 0 5 30 Feb.24 H Warriors 91-88 W 38 8-19 0-0 6-7 4 17 21 0 0 2 2 2 22 Nov.26 H Bulls 89-94 L 34 9-18 0-0 12-14 0 6 6 1 1 0 4 6 30 Nov.08 H Magic 74-76 L 36 6-15 0-0 5-6 2 2 4 0 0 4 1 3 17 Nov.05 H Hornets 84-91 L 37 8-22 0-0 4-5 4 10 14 2 0 7 1 5 20
This is thread doesn't make sense and this is a long term discussion. To win a game is not only depend on single player, no matter T-Mac or Yao. The role player must show his energy. If they play like WNBA, then I think even dream is here, we will lose.
T-Mac leads this team every night, against any team. When T-Mac doesn't play, Yao obviously is going to lead the team. Between T-Mac and Yao, T-Mac will always be leading this team, in the clutch or not. That doesn't mean he will take every clutch shot, he sets his team mates up very nicely in fact. It's just that he will always have the ball in the clutch, and there is no doubting that.
Why is it so important to you who leads the team more often? Is the notion that they both together lead the team enough to make you feel good?
It is not, I'm just pointing out that T-Mac leads this team in the clutch, and there is no doubt about that. T-Mac is the undisputed leader of this team, obviously when he doesn't play, Yao becomes the undisputed leader of this team. That's not to say T-Mac doesn't listen to Yao and plays well with Yao, however. T-Mac meshes well with Yao, they work well together, that 2 man game they had going last season was money almost every night.
Right. And then some Yao's fans will jump in and express their dissatisfaction about your opinion. Next thing we know there are three pages of heated debate about who is actually the leader of the team. It's stupid. They are both Houston Rockets and they are the two best players of the team. Can we just look at them as co-leaders of the team? Why is it so important for you guys to claim that your idol is the undisputed leader of the team? Just win games baby.
No. What you need to do is look beyond the wins and losses and realize that the outcome resulted from many variables… i.e., players playing out of rotation because of the injury bug, frequent line-up changes, team mates unable to make consistent shots because they lack the talent or because of being overworked due to the injuries, playing a harder schedule than Tracy than Tracy did w/o him ... etc. It's unfair to conclude that Tracy would have done better because the sample of top teams that Tracy played against w/o Yao is too small and he didn’t do well either and at no fault of his own. The Rocket role players be it from their inability to stay healthy or their lack of inexperience/talent results in the necessity of having BOTH Tracy and Yao to do win against the top teams. But even that is an enigma because what top teams did both Yao and Tracy play against this season that resulted in a win? Clippers?
Gosh, just now a new guy posted a thread to 'expend' TMAC this summer. Now another one jumped up and saying TMAC is the only one in this team that 'vs the best Team in League'. I don't know if we should be happy about the popularity of CluthFans? Guess the answer is yes?
never mind. there will be more and more games that Yao can win alone. don't you believe that? and i have an idea: why not JVD let Yao shoot from down town?
