I know it sounds kinda crazy, but I just got word from an inside source that the ROX are going to give away 10 FREE TIX to the top 10 CRAZIEST/ROWDIEST fans at 6:30pm in front of the LaBranch entrance for the WASH game on Friday, March 31st... K-Dawg, if you read this can you verify it's validity??? Regardless, this is a Great opportunity for TRUE ROX fans to come out heckle the hell out of a slightly above average Eastern Conference team... I heard that RED & SILVER war paint, ROX gear, afros... the wilder, the better would get a fan in... I haven't been a member for long but I bet the guys here would show up full force! K-Dawg please respond....
Man they did the same thing last year for one of the home games for the dallas game and me and my cousins were out there goin str8 up rowdy for like 3hours we had our faces painted our shirts off and bodies painted and posters and everything and we were by far the loudest of the whole group but when the people that decide finally came to pick the "rowdiest fans" (it was their first time in the 3hrs we were yelling to see the group) just overlooked us and picked up some stupid lame fans. What I am trying to say is that the people who decide who gets in and who does not jus pick randomly they do not even look at the group once before they make their decision they just come out and say its time to pick the fans and everyone starts yelling and pushing and its just your luck if you get in or not.
i definately remember this... They had those fat ass tundra dancers choose the rowdiest fans, and those idiots ended up choosing the guys that came dressed best for a haloween party.

I am a season ticket holder so this does not effect me but why only 10? I know the Rockets don't want to do things that will diminish the value of their tickets but come on there will be thousands of un-sold tickets and probally two thousand no-shows why not make it more in this lost season? I want to commend yall for addressing the atmosphere problem and trying new things but come on only 10. You guys will make money on food and beer that yall would of never gotten without these fans. Turn around and if it's a man tell him very nicely that if he want's to sit and relax he should stay at home. If it's a lady turn around and softley say "bless you precias little heart honey, this is a basketball game" Thanks for coming out "the management" Those people need to get off their high horse and have a big time at the games period. I sure hope we figure out how to make the "red alert" a fixture at every game next season of course winning would help.
i agree with you Texanskan... FREE TIX for being loud, rowdy and proud.. it's like watching the game with your boys only remove the 35" plasma w/ 5.1 dolby and insert the panoramic stadium w/ live actual sounds (fans yelling, beer & peanut guys, RPD in person) and the potential of winning prizes receiving giveaways... To me its a no brainer! 10 free tix is better than none... we should try to form a strong group to make a good impression on the ROX to keep getting more tix.
Tonight should be a full house (not counting the no shows). Let's see how it works out tonight and we can try to revisit more often in the future. So whoever is coming better REPRESENT!
