Good to see Gene Wilder finally get the respect he deserves. I think they did a pretty solid job with the top 10. Maybe some other performances deserved to be up there, but all of the ones that i've seen were incredible.
I immediately scrolled down to number one to see if Val Kilmer as Doc Holiday was the number one. I figured that was the only way to see if this list was legitimate or not. Imagine my surprise when I didn't even find him on the list.
Brilliantly done, and the movie should have been more successful than it was. I've seen it several times. One of Russell's best roles as well, but Kilmer walked away with it. Kilmer was also terrific in The Ghost and the Darkness... another flick more people should have seen, IMO.
I'm sure a lot of people didn't see the movie, but if anyone sees the version of Marie Antoinette that was made in the 1930's, I have seen one of the greatest performances ever from Robert Morely. He is brilliant, and the character he creates is just amazing. Another performance that is possibly the singe best I have ever seen is Andy Griffith in A Face in the Crowd. The whole film centers around him, and he has to be the focus of pretty much every scene, and he pulls it off masterfully. I would have never thought him capable of a character like that, but he does it. Sadly it caused him psychological damage that he had to deal with and battle ever since.
dont forget Jar-Jar Binx 50 Cent in Get Rich or Die Tryin Jim Carrey in The Cable Guy Kristanna Loken in Bloodrayne Justin Guarini in From Justin to Kelly and last but not least......... Jennifer Lopez in Gigli *honorable mention* Lloyd Garner the 3rd in Anus Magillicutty
Dude, THAT guy oughta get in the top 10! I never thought juggling could be more than a mild form of entertainment until....... that guy.
I may have missed it but.... How is Russell Crowe as John Nash in a Beautiful Mind not even on the list??? Dude was amazing in that flick!
I would also think that Michael Douglas as Gordan Gecko should be on that list. I don't believe in Greed, but everytime I hear that speech he convinces me that Greed is good.
