I've been wanting to make a thread like this for ages on this board, but I've never been quite sure what the right forum would be... My guess is this one since it is Rockets-related. Anyways, so this thread is about what kind of Rockets "memoribilia" you may have made over the years to express your embarrassingly strong love for the Rockets. I made it to see what kind of stuff you guys may have made... and also to brag a little bit about the stuff I made. I don't have a lot of varied stuff here... but I've done a little over the years. So here's some things I made several years ago in elementary and middle school art class. A paper-miche sign and just a generic embossed rocket, hehe: And if any of you guys have played Forza Motorsport for Xbox, you might recognize what these are all about. God these took like five hours each to make :

I can't tell if you're just joking, or if you're mocking my car "creations". Cuz that stuff was not easy! It wasn't just pasting a logo onto the hood. None of those logos were in the game. Anyone who has played that game is familiar with the decal system: You get nothing but a bunch of colored triangles, squares, circles, etc to work with, and you have to twist them, turn them, squish them, stretch them, and layer them to create whatever you want. The stuff on the roof and hood of the Porsche, for example, is 97 layers of simple shape decals. Too much time? Maybe... but it was fun.
Holy cow man, 97 layers? I couldn't even imagine doing that, they look great too. Looks like you could have just pasted the logo. Great job

BTW, JBII, are those based completely on the actual championship banners? Or did you put your own twist on them at all? Either way, nice work. Man, some of you guys really hate newbies, eh? Well anyways, as I said, that was part of the purpose of the thread. Only part, though.

i still have some more with just yao, tmac, the rockets logo history, and then another shoe celebrating the championship days. sad thing is i havent finished the photoshopped image of it. the reason why i picked that pic was to show everyone the bond this two players share with just 2 years of playing together. its more like "read in between the lines" kind of art. most of my stuff is like, "more than what you can see" kind of stuff.. know what i mean?
