The day I inconvenienced Kelvin Sampson by being the first one to ask for his autograph at the Superdome goes down as one of my greater moments. :D

    Why is Oklahoma under investigation?

NM, read it in the article. How did Oklahoma have a 3rd place finish in the torunament? Do they have a 3rd place game?

Hope Indiana is ready to embrace the denim shirt era.

I'm currently living in Oklahoma City, and most Sooner fans I know, could care less he's leaving. They've been complaining about him for a while.

They think his brand of basketball is boring.

hey, they said it, not me

They don't like the slow down, half court game. I agree, he's a winner.

Do sooner fans like basketball period? I get the feeling they wouldn't be depressed if Sampson never brought their program to the level it is at.

I sure hope the guy catches on with the fan base. If he recruits well, beats Purdue & Kentucky and has some success in March, he'll win them over. Wish him well.

The guy is good but he seems to whine a lot on the bench. Or maybe it just looks that way, I don't know.

He plays Van Gundy style basketball. Slow as hell, defensive-oriented, offensive-stagnation, and just plain boring.

As much as I despise OU, I think Sampson is a good coach and I think he'll do well at Indy.

Now if he'll do something about those denim shirts...

Actually they have had a pretty good program for a while and maybe they just want a guy to take them to another level.
