I have noticed, and probably all of you guys do aswell we have been one of the worst home teams this year i don't know whats the problem and why we never can win in our arena can someone tell me whats the problem? does it have to do with the crowd being so quite in games?

i hope this situation gets corrected we need fans more louder and etc.etc..

Next year starts now fellas! :D

    its quite simple.

Tracy plays much worse at home than he does on the road. He's the #1 option...so if he doesn't play his part then team has to make up for his production.

In the 2yrs of him being in houston...I cant name 3 great games he's had at Toyota Center.

Was that one already on? I saw a preview for it the other day but I was watching a rerun...it was probably on last night huh? Anyone know when they show the reruns?

As far as the commentary goes...that's where J. Barry comes into play next year :D

Here's one reason: Most of the lower bowl seats are snatched up by corporate schmoozers who could give a **** less about the Houston Rockets. They sit there like mannequins during the game, talk on their cellphones, and don't react much to what's happening on the court. They're more worried about impressing girlfriends/clients/prostitutes with the excellent seats they scored through their employer than with cheering for the Rockets.

Because there is no fire in the lower bowl, the homecourt advantage doesn't exist for Houston in the same way it exists for other teams. The Rockets probably get more interested and animated fans when they play against Golden State at home (Yao fans) than they do when they play in the Toyota Center.

Tmac Home games from last year:
    Jan. 28 vs Kings 30pts 12ast 7reb 3stl 2blck

    March 6 vs Mavs 32pts 5ast 10reb 1stl

    March 24 vs Cavs 31pts 5ast 4reb 2stl

    April 16 vs Nuggets 32pts 8ast 2reb 3blck

and dont forget the miraculous night of 13 in 35

Those are about the only good home games Tmac has had in houston it bewilders as to why he can perform so well on the road but not at home with thousands of fans cheering him on

when I watch him....he seems to play with more of a purpose on the road. He's more decisive. Generally, looks more comfortable on the road.

This wasn't case in his Orladno days....offensively he was always better at home. I guess theres just something about Toyota Center that throws him off

There could be other circumstances too--Carmelo has said that the pepsi center is too bright--gives him headaches. I'm pretty sure they'll be fixing that before next season starts.

It could be something like that-probably a combination of things. Aesthetically speaking, i think the Rockets home floor is the nastiest in the league, the wood stain is not right for our team colours and the lighting just seems wrong--the floor looked so good during all star weekend so whatever they did then should be done now.

I think they should have a draw for season ticket holders where the first prize is a first row box section for everygame for the rest of the season and playoffs. But they definately need real fans on the floor.

OK, at first I understood that the lower bowl is mostly owned by the corporate world that dont give a RAT A** about the Rockets but then I'm thinking

how come OTHER STADIUM AS PACK AND LOUD?? and I know corporate has to own the lower deck in those stadium too. Last game I went to vs The Clippers the upper level were HALF EMPTY too.

Look at stadium like Denver, Phila, Chicago, Minnesota, Memphis shooot even Toronto, Milwaukee, and Seattle seems more PACK AND LOUD.

and what's sad is we have TMAC and YAO MING! two of the most popular players in NBA.

Man this is very frustrating but it's true i just don't get why the Organization is not doing anything about this if we're going to be a Championship team WE Have to make sure our crowd gets loud because at some point we have to have home-court advantage.

    This really makes me upset.

Agreed...watching the Spurs games are definetly alot different than the Rockets. The crowd is much louder. Whenever I go to the games I get free tix from my gf's dad in Section 119, seats 9-12 and we are loud and cheer the whole time. Too bad most of the people around us are quiet and looking at us to shut up. I'd rather stand up and yell the whole time, yet you just get stares when your standing...

Man screw those losers around you!

    Stand up and get crazy!

The only advice I can give is to just be somewhat aware of your suroundings if you are in that club level those folks spent alot of jack for those seats and they don't want to hear profane words or hear personal insults but if someone tells you to "sit down" just turn around and tell them maybe they don't realize they are at a sporting event and they might want to watch it at home next time.

I sit in sec 113 it is behind the goal and we have a mix of real hard core fans and people who might of had tickets just given to them or are not really very rowdy. I tell those folks to stop comming to games we need only real fans.

That's too bad we cannot win at the Toyota centre.
Maybe it's time to chance a new one :D
If we could have win half of the host games, we would be on the way to the play-off.

Don't worry we do get crazy but I still don't wanna look like a jackass and have everyone wanna kill me. The seats we are in are $160 a piece.

T-Mac seems to shoot better with brighter stadiums. ex( Utah, Dallas, Orlando, etc) to name a few.

The lighting in toyota center needs to be upgraded. IMHO ;) this thing might work, no damage done. ;)
