I didn't say it was right -or- wrong; I just tried to make a fair hypothetical judgement on what might have happened.

Or the fact terrorists flew planes into buildings and killed thousands of innocent people? Not sure if you remember happened a few years back on September 11... But i suppose terrorist attacks would've halted completely if Pres. Bush sat back and congratulated the masterminds? I'm sure they'd think ' wow they're doing nothing to thwart us... Let's stop killing innocent people now '.....
As you can tell that's complete sarcasm.. Terrorist attacks have happened after troops have been deployed in Iraq yes.. But not on the scale of what would've happened if America did not begin the hunt for Osama and ultimately the ' War on Terror '

I'm thinking you're confused here. I'm no expert here, but didnt Osama=invading Afghanistan. The problem that people have here is invading Iraq |= finding Osama.

Keep drinking the punch. Iraq has nothing to do with Osama.

Look you can second-guess the decision to invade Iraq all you want. That's really an argument for a separate thread. We're in there now, so deal with it. If you're able to rationalize terrorists using Iraqi civilians as human shields, I feel sorry for you.

If you think I rationalized terrorists using civilians as shields I feel sorry for you.

I never once defended anything terrorists do, or have done. You were the one who claimed it was a good move to fight terrorists. I was just commenting that there weren't any terrorists there before we went in.

I'll tell you something, when I fight a war, I like to take it to the enemy. Go after them and get rid of them. Iraq was a step in the other direction.

OK, thanks for the explanation, and sorry for the overreaction.
