    Well probally not but

    Geoux Tigers anyway!

And then after that game go Horns and then we will have an LSU-Texas matchup for a right to go to the final four!

I hope you're right! Just make sure Davis' chest never gets in the way of a Sheldon Williams elbow and you should be fine.

Duke is ripe for the picking tonight but LSU is choking up a storm. They should be up 10 or 15 right now.

you are right stro with heart and passion. he cares out there, every play, every possession.

and even though i have duke in the championship game, i don't care, my bracket sucks anyway. i want LSU to win.

Not that I for a fraction of a second thought CD or JVG would be fooled but...

Rockets' fans worldwide owe LSU a debt of thanks for exposing Redick for the one-dimensional player he is. Now, maybe the draft Redick posts will subside.

    Congrats Tigers.

The whole game Duke played very uninspired. It wasn't like them at all. Reddick was horrible and he will face pesky, faster defenders every game in the NBA. Still, he could be a valuable role player on the right team as a 3rd/4th scoring option.

I give LSU a lot of credit for not folding up after they gave up 10 straight points. But this Duke team is a shadow of it's former self. They peaked a couple of months ago. I guess Reddick just got tired and faded the last 10 or so games.

I'm not a Redick fan, but I think his best chance to succeed in the NBA is with a team like the Rockets. He's not good enough to be a first option, but with two guys like Yao and T-Mac who demand double teams, he's going to get alot of open looks, which we'll allow him to play to his strength, shooting.

he's not good enough to be a starter in the NBA. i don't like him in the lottery period. it's one thing to miss on a draft pick, but it's another to draft a player when you know going in that he's best used off the bench. we have enough holes in our starting lineup, so we can't ignore it completely when you have a lotto pick ... at least patch up one of them.

i just wish he wasn't so overrated because he would be perfect at the top of the 2nd round like salim stoudamire (who was a much better perimeter shooter in college) was last year. but the duke hype machine is in full effect so he will be drafted higher than his one-dimensional skills warrant and then when he doesn't live up to that lofty draft status they will call him another duke bust.

p.s. i don't know if this was posted here before, but this is hillarious:

that coach k thing was freakin' hilarious.....

and i agree with you on reddick. he's going to be a good role player, but not someone to carry the offense. he needs others around him in the nba to get him the shots that he succeeds at.

Which is why he'd be a good fit for the Rockets.

yes, he definitely could be. i've never debated that. but i wouldn't take him over brandon roy or rodney carney. because we also sorely need size and athleticism on the wings alongside mcgrady who can also shoot and score themselves...those two definitely do that.

No way in hell Carney is there when we draft. Roy might be there and I'd probably take him over JJ as well.
