You must obviously be calling it how you saw it during that 1 season in Houston. I don't see how anyone could look at the numbers or game tape from Pippens days in Chicago and not say his play was steller or that he made clutch play after clutch play.

I didn't say he couldn't play. I merely said he could only play with Big Brother. I said if he didn't have MJ, and thus the rings, he would have been just another good but flawed player. MJ made him, and yes, he helped MJ, but make no mistake, it was MJ NOT Pippen.

OK, I give you that. You want Pippen on your team like Bowen on the Spurs, just play defense and knock down the open shot. Fine. But if you are saying that Pippen is a better all around player than Bird, that is really absurd. And I assume that if you had a choice of picking either Pippen or Bird to build a team around, you would pick Bird, right?

Other than defense and athleticism, Bird is by far a better shooter, scorer, passer and rebounder than Pippen, not to mention better leadership.

Again, he sure seemed to do fine without big brother in the 93/94 playoffs. He was an ass and sat on the pine, but they were still a bs call away from the ECF. He sure seemed to do fine after he left here and got to the WCF with Portland.

Again, MJ never won jack without him.

I'd like to share with all you fellow Rockets fans a little rant I put on my blog a couple weeks ago about Scottie. It's pretty opinionated and all, but I really don't like Pippen, so I felt like writing it =). And hopefully, other Rockets fans can share in the joy of my bitter sarcasm!
