Saw the feature on Fox 26. Kemp is at 270, and looks to be in decent shape. He uttered the words "My goal is to be in the Hall of Fame" someday.

It's easy to be skeptical, but he's been working for a year now trying to get back in the NBA.

He looked very good physically, but I strongly doubt he's anwhere near basketball shape, not to mention that he still can pay.

At this stage of his career, he's probably not much better than Vin Baker on your team.

He got a big contract, then got fat and lazy. Kemp could have been a Hall of Famer, but he chose to be a impregnator instead. He did it to himself.

    How old is he now?

He waited too long to get his **** together. I'd be shocked if he was anywhere near a productive NBA player at this point.

Fizer deserves a shot with the Rockets before Kemp.

You can also get lazy and let someone else do all the work.

Exactly. Why do all the work when you can let someone grind on top of you for $4,000 a month in future child support payments.

Kemp wasn't the smartest tool in the shed.

eh might as well give him a shot
    1. take our roster
    2. remove the names Yao, Tmac, Head from the roster
    3. randomly pick a player from the remaining group.
    4.cut that player.
    5.sign new guy.

everyone not named tmac/yao/head is expendable

I saw him at the gym about 2 weeks ago. He's got a gut. I couldn't even possibly guess his weight.

He also didn't have his nasty hops like he use to. But, hell, thats aint 24 hour fitness.

What I don't don't get is why he gave up his contract. I think he felt guilty about making all that money and not producing, that's pretty good of a player to do that.

C'mon people, you guys are truly a-holes. Never underestimate the drive of a human being. It has led us to space, curing diseases and the spread of freedom. As crazy as it may sound to us, Kemp does have a chance to be in the Hall of Fame....

...I heard they need a new ticket salesperson anyway.

Everubody is asking if should this guy a try and that guy a try, but at this point, why not give ANYBODY a try? Obviously what we have and what are doing now isn't working..we brought in Richie Frahm, why not Your Baby Daddy Kemp... We are not going to make the playoffs now, go ahead and experiment..LOTTO Time Baby!!! (as weak as it may be)

Before this goes to D&D. Human beings as a race also create diseases in the form of biological weapons. We also probably refuse to cure disease for the fact that there is more money in treating than curing. We also let millions of people starve for no good reason. We kill each other because we have different beliefs.

And to make this appopriate for the garm. The Houston rockets are a perfect synergy of cultures combing east/west before our eyes. And no to Shawn Kemp.

Cedric Ceballos is supposedly aiming for a comeback as well. ;)

Kemp is done. The guy could have been one of the greats but like many of the 90's athletes, money, fame, women, drugs, alcohol, got the best of them.
