HOW?!? Dammit, you can't blame it on the refs every time - that's just making a scapegoat out of someone who's not at fault.

Look, I understand that at times bad calls make the difference, but this time that is not the case. We should've made our FT shots earlier in the game so we could win it in the 4th.

Place the blame on those who missed those FTs (Thomas, Francis, etc), not on the refs. Of course, favorable calls from the refs would be welcome, but we shouldn't have to count on them if we can shoot from the line with consistency...

Francis3: Yeah, Stevie really can't be faulted. He did GREAT!!! I was expecting Kidd to school him, but Jason had a low-scoring game against a rookie who everyone said would fold against a true PG... And Stevie nearly had a triple double.

I'm only worried about out FT shooting, especially down the stretch. If Stevie has any weakness, that's it, and I have no doubt that he can correct that with a little practice... I'm SO glad we acquired him...

He's given G Payton and now Kidd pause. The man can play...

I am a ref hater from the beginning of time, but the refs weren't the reason we lost this game. Sure, they made some bad calls, but don't they always? The fact is we got some questionable calls go our way, and so did Phoenix. The Barkley foul on Longley was a foul. He grabbed Longley's arm and pushed him to the side. Sure, Longley flopped, but Barkley did foul him. It was a very stupid foul to commit.

The reason we lost was poor FT shooting and TOs. Not because we lost by 1 and missed 1 free throw, but because we missed 12 free throws and lost by 6 points. But, it was the clutch FTs that really hurt us at the end of the 4th quarter.

(Asking the real question of the night)

How bad is Stevie's injury? Can he play against the Clips?

We REALLY need to go to 5 wins...

I dont know anything about it. But I dont think he will play tomorrow. Looks like the 5th win will have to wait till he comes back. I dont see how we can even come close to a win without francis. He does everything, Score and get players involved.

Well this getting stale, I will say this the last time, even we missed 12 FTs and committed over 20 Tos, we still should have won if the refs did their job. Bad calls go the both way, however, the one on Mobley was the killer one. Those bad officiating in the last seconds which leaves no time for a team to recover equals like five bad calls in the first quarter.

Final: Even if we had good calls all the way...

Bad calls won't make up for an 8- or 6- or even a 4- point deficit down the stretch against a good team.

At best, it makes a three-point difference. Quit b****ing and start calling for more FT practice. THAT WILL get us wins. Guaranteed.
