Okay, I doubt it's Yao's cousin. But digg.com linked to a "Tallest Woman in Asia" page today on Yahoo news. Her name is Yao Defen. Odd, huh? Defen is 2.36 meters tall. Ming is 2.26 meters tall. http://news.yahoo.com/photo/060315/ids_photos_wl/r2761322143.jpg
Good Lord, people are too freaking sensitive these days. I was "scolded" for using the term "Rule of Thumb" the other day... it was straight out of Boondock Saints.
Hardly a cultural thing, RM95. Some poster jokingly made a reference to the keyword "r****ded" not long ago in a D&D thread with a picture of mentally challenged kid rushing towards a finishing line in a special olympic game. The kid was white. I was equally offended.
"Rule of Thumb?" You racist bigot, how dare you bring that kind of sexism on this board, your stereotypical/homophobic ways is what is bring down this board.
"Rule of Thumb" deals with past rules about women's equality. You used to be able to hit your wife with a switch as long as it wasn't thicker than your thumb. Hence the "rule."
