It is my OPINION that Mosio is not the Player for the Rockets. I would rather the Rockets draft Johnson and solidify the PF position via free agency. Maybe Davis from Toronto or Pollard.

Davis isn't a free agent. If you think Moiso isn't the answer, then Pollard is?

Moiso as a rookie won't be the "answer" if developed right, he very well could be the answer in 2-3 years. He has the tools, and the ceiling.

    Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.

Good one NIKE your right Davis isn't a free agent, what I ment was either we could trade for or pick up a powerfoward via free agency. Even though most would disagree, I think the Rockets should trade Walt Williams or Anderson for a PF. Then let Cuttino start at SG.

I don't want to trade Shan or Walt. Especially if it's picking someone up to replace KT. GO KT!!! [IMG]

I agree, I don't necessarily think that Moiso is "the answer" but at the same time I think he has to be high on the Christmas list especially since the 4 spot is as empty as the 3.

The guy has definitely proved that he has skills on both sides of the floor & if his defense looks to be an asset in the pros the Rockets will probably chance him even if they don't feel great about his in side game. Especially if DerMarr & probably 5 other names are off the board at that point.

What ever they do, say away from the Center prospects I think one out of the top 5 will be an impact player.

What is it with you's and PF? Moiso would be a great fit for the Rockets but I think Olumide would be even better. I have heard about his leap and his wing span and he is deffinately athletic. He won the Dunk contest in Germany and he's only 19 years old. Sounds like our man.

Dunking and large wingspan are not the only assets in a sound PF....the guy needs to be able to bang down low and shoot when required. This Olumide character doesn't appear to be able to any of these things well.

Of course, I don't know much about the guy, so I could be wrong. [IMG]

Olumide isn't a very good outside shooter, but he CAN bang with the best of them.

I consider him the PF incarnation of Mutumbo.

    Draft Moiso. Trade Moises.

    Trade or bench Kenny Thomas.

Take my word. Draft Jerome Moiso. I'm a UCLA alum, and the man is dynamite. He made great strides this past year. He was instrumental in UCLA's defeat of Stanford this year. He put that team on his back in the best college game of the year, alot of people say. He's got one of the softest touches I've seen for a big man, kinda like Hakeem. In fact, he will remind you of Hakeem for the next 14 years if we pick him. For what it's worth, the man has the most exciting alley-oop dunks you could ever want to see! Don't pull another mistake, Rockets, like you did in not picking Rashard Lewis a couple of years ago. And don't trade Jerome, either. Keep him around and you'll see what I'm talking about.

I say this now and am willing to put my name on the line for the following statement but here it is: Jerome Moiso will be a bust. He has a great body but it is what is upstairs that will hold him back.

Yeah but the name I carry has a deeper meaning that I would rather not soil with poor predictions.

    Wasn't Rudy Tomjanovich #45?

I starting to wonder if the rockets still like Moiso or not. Moiso is one of the few players that will most likely be there at #9. Yet, the Rockets are desperatly trying to trade down because that feel they can get a similar player with a latter pick.

    RT45--

You've been saying Moiso will be a bust for as long as I can remember. I'm still not buying it. I think he's gonna kick ass.

I saw that game and if he could play that way consistently, he's he a top 5 pick. He's definitely worth a fly at #9 and I wouldn't be surprised or disappointed to see us take him. (OTOH, I also wouldn't be surprised or disappointed if we traded down and took Etan Thomas.)

Give me Johnson at #9 and I'll be happy!!
Otherwise I'd trade down with either Boston or Dallas (if possible) to draft Etan Thomas rather than Moiso.

    RR - Yes he was.

I am starting to get the feeling that Rockets management agrees with me about Moiso therefore looking to move up or down.
