I thought it was ok. There was no Cliff Hangers so to speak. The next season is interesting I like the Kavanuagh vs Mackie angle The CCH Pounder as the new Cheif should prove interesting but at the end . . it just seemed like an extra long episode rather than a Finally Rocket River
I thought it was pretty good. Forrest Whitaker has been great this season. He tried to work his lonely man angle to score with Corrine was funny. Why the hell would Corrine even let him in. I like how the Dutchpimp is working it.
I thought the Finale was great. Didn't think Shane was going to kill of Lem. Can't wait for the rampage Vic is going to be on avenging his death. It's also going to be interesting to see who the new strike team member is. Forrest Whittaker was also great playing IAD. That little Mexican hottie (whose age still strikes me) needs to start going undercover being a prostitute... But it's going to be weird to see the strike team w/o Lem.

I was speaking to my friend . . The Acting on this show is Great the addition of Forrest Whittaker just made it even more intense Shane Surprised me too. He doesn't seem to think well without Vic around I think Vic and the New Chief will butt heads more cause I don't think she ever like him Rocket River
From what I heard this season is split into two halves and this was the finale of the first half. I knew Shane was gonna do that, I just wish he didn't. I was the guy rooting for Shane to go to jail in fourth season, I can't stand the guy.
Most saw Lem's death coming, just not by grenade. I think this has been the Shield's best season to date, and easily their best season finale. It's a shame we'll have to wait until next January for season 6. Originally it was going to be 1 season split in half, the other half being shown in the fall. Now it looks like they'll just call it season 6.
I heard a lot about this show so I finally checked it out this season. I thought it was a bit overrated. they try to go to the extreme too much. every case is sensational.
Lem deserved it for burning all of their money. They should have all been living on easy street, but instead they were right back at square one, only they still had a bunch of messes in their pasts to clean up. I don't think Lem was cut out for the strike team. Maybe they can bring back Army to replace him.
Most of the finale was kind of boring. But the last 20 minutes was awesome. I totally didn't see Shane killing Lem. Now that Vic is kind of becoming a good guy (i.e., boring), Shane's character is easily the most interesting one on the show. And they should kill off Ronnie at somepoint. That guy is just deadweight. He contributes nothing to the show and barely ever says anything anyways.
Half those awards I've never heard of. Micheal Chiklis won an emmy four years ago and a golden globe three years ago, maybe I just caught this show in its decline but I still didn't see what the fuss was about. maybe I should rent some old episodes.
yeah, you got to watch the early seasons. This season is all tied to stuff that happened from the pilot till this year.
what happened to glen close's character? i just started watching the show. from what i can tell it seems the strike team are a bunch of dirty cops. do they actually do any good on the show?
their more of an ENDS JUSTIFIES THE MEANS type of cops I think Glen Close Quite and they just had he character reassigned Rocket River
After getting shafted by Acevada for the ten millionith time, this time Acevada cut a deal with Antwan Mitchell that basically sey him free, Closes character got Vic and the team to arrest the big, big head honcho of the El Salvadors before the DEA could. Because she did that the Mayor and Chief of Police were all none to happy about it and basically requested she leave. Just finished watching Season 4, and will be starting the 5th season very shortly (the season that just wrapped up in the US). Found it hard to skip over some of the spoilers in the thread, but I'm looking forward to where this season goes. Will check back after I've watched the season!!
