PG: 95-96 Gary Payton/61-62 Oscar Robertson
SG: 88-89 Clyde Drexler/85-86 Alvin Robertson
    SF: 87-88 Charles Barkley/71-72 Dr. J
PF: 71-72 Artis Gilmore/69-70 Spencer Haywood/67-68 Jerry Lucas
    C: 71-72 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar/61-62 Walt Bellamy/93-94 Shaq

Your team would be down and out early...and worn out by halftime leaving no chance for a comeback.

That's true, but he could rig up a stun grenade using the courtside talcum powder, some athletic tape, and the t-shirt cannon. After that, it would be no problem for Chuck and friends to finish everyone off.

PG: Kobe v. Magic: Advantage Kobe. Magic could post up a little, but Kobe's an elite defender. Magic couldn't dream of staying in front of Kobe. Nash as sub, in case Kobe can't run the offense.

SG: Ron Artest v. MJ: Ron artest and MJ would come to blows by the 9:33 mark in the 1st quarter. Both get ejected. You have no subs, so I win. AI as substitute. MJ could never guard the little guys and admitted as much (I think).

SF: Tmac v. Bird: Tmac when healthy is an elite defender. Bird could beat him up down low, but would snap both ankles trying to stay in front of McGrady. Alternatively, both of their bad backs would flare up and I win. You have no subs. Substitute: Dennis Rodman. He could seriously slow down Bird. Also, Bird would talk smack to Rodman but Rodman would be in one of those frenzies and not understand. Fight at the 3:02 mark in the 1st quarter. Bird ejected for hitting Rodman after Rodman grabbed his jewels while the ref had his back turned. In any case, I win.

PF: Hakeem v. Russell: Russell dominated a much less athletic era. Hakeem would beat him badlyl, possibly embarass him. Substitute, Moses Malone. Russell and Malone wouldn't actually play basketball. They's just wrestle while the other 4 play.

C: Shaq v. Wilt: Ditto, except the embarass part. Robert Parish is the substitute. See comments above regarding Artest and Rodman. The Chief takes no crap from anyone. I win.

    1. Stockton/Oscar
    2. Kobe/Clyde
    3. Pippen/T-Mac/Artest
    4. Hakeem/Duncan/KG
    5. Shaq/Kareem

Hate Pippen and Stockton, but I think the asswhooping this team would give to yours would make up for it.

    1. Stockton is Nash with more assists and 10X better defense. If Magic posts up on him, bring in O.
    2. Kobe and MJ could do pretty similar. I Kept Artest in there cuz if Kobe could not handle MJ on defense, I would throw Artest at him or put Artest on Bird and throw Pippen at MJ
    3. Pippen is probably a little stronger than T-mac so he gets the starting nod against Bird to hold him in the post also. Bird cant do anything against any of these guys on defense, and would be shut down by Pippen completely.
    4. Hakeem makes Russel dizzy and sick so Russel has to leave the game.
    5. Shaq is a freak of nature not seen in the NBA before, including Wilt. So Shaq pounds him in the post.

I think Artest and T-mac would be the x-factors in this game. Artest would help against Magic or Jordan if there were any defensive problems during the game. T-mac can help against Magic and maybe Jordan.

    On offense:
Let Stockton run the offense. Dump it to Shaq or Hakeem based on whose got the better position first. Shaq would operate out of the right and Hakeem out of the left block. 2nd option would be to give the ball to Kobe or T-mac to create on the perimeter. Rest of the guys run around or just stand there and take all the open shots they would get.

You tell him SM, don't ever dis McGyver, he's the perfect complementary player to the other 3 super killing machines.... and OJ, who will raise Johnny Cocharan back from the dead and get everybody acquitted.

I like my team, great defense and the ability to score and rebound. Artest would have to guard Magic even though I would like his bone crushing defense on MJ :p
